Horrible service experience for 7 months!

Do not buy a product from GE appliances. The company is totally disfunctional. Our appliances were installed on 5/23/23. It is now 12/4/23 and the range still only has 5 working burners. The service on this product has been appalling. I have had the range replaced, at their suggestion, only to the have the same problem occur. No one (not the original installer or the second installer) thought to ask if the fuel was NG or LP. Once we determined that issue, no one in the company realized that the appropriate orafices for LP gas were contained within the range. The second installer did not have the proper tools to change out the orifice for 1 of the burners. We have been waiting, calling daily, to get that one changed and working. The countless hours I have spend trying to fix these issues have left me frustrated and extremely unhappy with the product. Again, STAY AWAY!

I have lots of personal experience with high end appliances all of which lead me to the purchase of this amazing stove. I knew it would be great but it still blew me away in it's performance. Love; the individual grates that all burners are the same size - no more favoritism leaving one burner more worn out than the others The knobs - they are solid! The oven is spot on and does not take a long time to cool down nor heat up! Temperature control of the oven is so simple! Timer is even more simple The simmer is amazing- this was my deciding factor but it still blew me away! The stovetop is easy to clean but I honestly can not comprehend why this stove insists on staying cleaner than any other I've owned! Bought all the GE Cafe appliances even though I have selected appliances individually before with similar looks and SS coloring. I am so happy with the way they all look and operate that I encourage anyone to feel confident in this purchase.

I've had this range for a month now and so far it's working great. It's wonderful to have 6 burners and they have good power. Word to the wise: run the oven for a couple hours at some point before you actually want to use it for the first time. Even if you have removed the plastic wrappings, the smell of burnt plastic will fill up your house so make sure to do this before you want the oven truly functional. For some reason that is not addressed in the manual, but when I googled it, this is apparently common for new ovens but I had no idea because this is my first new oven.

I bought this stove in January. Since then the auto light has stopped working on all 6 eyes. In addition 2 times the control knobs have gotten too hot to touch and you have to use a rag to touch them. I have gotten in touch with Cowboy Maloney's in Jackson on 4 different occasions about this. they told me they would get it scheduled for work. so far nobody has contacted. This has been at least 6 weeks.

I love the look of the stove! The burners are fast & efficient. Because of how they are designed, food doesn™€™t stick on pans! The oven works great. The only negative to me, is the oven is so low. Gas Smell

We had our new range installed on 12/10/20 and from the get go had a faint smell of gas. Fast forward a few weeks and the smell became really pronounced. Had the installers from the company we purchased the range from come out and we're told it was an internal issue and that we had to call GE ourselves to get one of their technicians to look at it. Customer service was good, and the repairman came out the next day. After inspection, it was found that all six of the valves for the burners were leaking, and thus the range is inop until replacement parts come in, whenever that may be. Extremely disappointed with this type of issue, considering not only the money we spent on the range, but for this type of quality defect. Hopefully the rest of our Cafe purchases hold up longer than this

The oven itself has a beautiful design. The problem is when you need a repair. GE does not have enough technicians, qualified in the Cafe line, to service their products. I had a problem with the motor in my refrigerator and the fan in my oven. Both times I had to wait about 10 days for an appointment for a technician. They came out to diagnose the problem and then order the parts. They don't have open appointments until weeks later. If you don't mind not having your appliances for a month than this is the line for you.

Had some issues with delivery but that ano she. As far as the range is concerned, I love it. I place a glass top range with gas which I™€™m more used to cooking on. I love it. Still need to customize the install but the features are great. Looks is great. I can say the packaging is very confusing when trying to install. My installers could not find the necessary parts to install. I then read the instructions and found out where they we I must say they are not convenient to even reach. U have to take the door off to just get a valve for Propane hook up. Then again you had to removed the top exhaust area to actually be able to turn on the unit. Very poor packaging. All of this should have been in a box taped into the inside of the oven. Other than that no problems.

Great range but needs louder timer alarm

We have had the range for a month and really like it with the exception that the timer alarm is very low volume and cant be heard over tv or if in another room. It needs to be louder!. We converted the burners to propane which was easy except finding the orafices which was not in the installation documentation. Google helped us here, but to get them had to remove oven door and trim below the door. Seem like putting them in a bag in the oven would be easier for the customer and installer. It arrived with a chip in the blue enamel on the inside of the oven door. Called warranty support and they shipped and installed a new door part. All this said, it's a wonderful gas stove and we a very glad we purchased it.

I've only used my range for 2 weeks, but I'm very pleased with it. The only suggestion for improvement would be to include a button to turn on a light so you can easily see what's cooking. It has a light that stays on, but it's not enough. Also, small detail, but I'd like to see a clock on the front of the range.

I absolutely love this range. However, cleaning is not as easy as it was on my old range. The grates are very well made and thus very heavy, which makes them cumbersome to move. The other feature I don't care for is the middle rack of the oven. I wish I could remove this, which would allow for taller items in the oven. If it wasn't for these two things, I'd give it a 5-Star rating.

Bought a year ago and have generally liked the range. Downside...even thou they incorporate a self clean over option, don't use it. After cleaning my oven it disabled all my burners. Although a week later they miraculously started working again. I had already ordered a new regulator so I have that in the cupboard should they decide to go out again.

I can't say enough about how much I love this range. If you are debating between this and any other pro-style range, stop the research and buy the Cafà Pro. Not only is it beautiful, but the usability is exceptional. Every feature has clearly been considered and carefully designed for a busy home kitchen. Previously, I owned a high-end, name brand, pro range that I struggled to like. After 8 years of hating the uneven, slow-heating, noisy oven, I finally decided to replace it. Within the first use of the Cafà Pro, I knew I was in love. Here are some of my favorite details: 1. Continuous grate style has significantly more surface area than my previous range. 2. All six burners are the same size and go from simmer to extra-high for large pots. 3. This oven is QUIET even when using convection modes. 4. The oven vent is on the top/back of the range which makes so much sense with a vent hood. Most pro ranges vent out the front, directly into your kitchen. 5. Pre-heating is reasonably fast for a 36" oven. Heating to 350 degrees takes about 12 minutes. (My previous 36" oven took 45 min to heat to 350!!!)

We got off to a rocky start - the first time I used the broiler the entire broiler assembly detached from the top of the oven as it cooled. The repair guy said it hadn't been spot welded at the factory and ordered a new one. It came in two weeks and it did not fit so he re-ordered. Waited another two weeks and thank goodness that part was the correct one! Despite all of that, my husband and I are in love with this range. It's expensive but it's worth every penny. The dual flame stacked burners give you an astonishing amount of control, and it's beautiful to boot! We are so impressed with it, we are buying the matching hood and dishwasher and will likely get the refrigerator when we need a new one.

We purchased this range three months ago - white black matte knobs and handle. We love the smooth burner to burner cooking surface, ease of cleaning, excellent burner temperature control, roller oven rack and over all look is beautiful. This is a dual fuel unit so we are just learning how to use the regular baking method and convection method of using the oven. So far it works excellent and cooks evenly. There is only one negative and that is the lack of lighted burner knobs when a burner is in use. The flame can be turned so low, you might not notice it is turned on and forget. This is not a quality or performance problem, but we purchased the black knobs and handle set. When the unit was delivered, we received a box with the black matte set in addition to the standard set on the range. This is a huge waste since there is nothing we can do with them. GE would not let us return the original knobs and handles.
