Pro: Clean lines, simple design (less to break over time), stays cool Con: Wish that the "plug" you have to use with it being a dual sided handle option was silver like the door and the GE logo plug used on the freezer door. It's a matte grey so more noticeable that it needs to be.

The refridgerator keeps everything nice and cool. No having to shift things around to find a cold spot for certain items. The bins with filter vents work very well and the freezer freezes without icy buildup. It just works!

This model was an affordable and space-optimizing option for our smaller kitchen. Inside layout is well designed. It looks good, too! Our only comment is that it seems very loud. The sound is very noticeable to the point of being distracting.

I bought this because old refrigerator making weird noises…..this refrigerator , while making normal operating sounds, runs at a much louder noise level and runs way more often then previous fridge. It's like the technology went backwards over the years

Right size but featureless

We waited 11 months for this appliance. It was one of few that fit in our kitchen without remodeling. Unfortunately it doesn't have the space or features of the former fridge we had which was 12 years old and a different brand. The freezer didn't come with ice cubes trays or even a LIGHT! The shelf space is limited. Not very excited with our new purchase. Our order specified handle on right side but it came with it on left and wrong per order.

I have a studio apartment and wanted a tall, smaller, quiet frig. This one is probably too roomy for the amount of food. Nice looking. I put the doors on myself. I didn't get ice maker. It's pretty quiet. It has no vents that I can see. Not sure if I have to clean any vents.

It took 11 months to deliver this refrigerator. Wrapped in blue plastic that is very difficult to remove completely since it is stuck behind framework. Only light is in the lower section making it difficult to see what is in freezer. Seems to run a long time before shutting off.

I really like this product. It's sleek looking, goes with what's on trend as well as a classic look that can sustain the ever-changing times. It's perfect for my small condo yet provides a lot of space. I had the opportunity to purchase an ice maker kit which I absolutely love. Due to pace limitations, I selected the 18 cu ft top freezer refrigerator. I was pleasantly surprised with the large size of the freezer. The internal shelves are great. The door shelves are ok, except the very bottom shelf which is too shallow and too low. This is replacement for prior GE refrigerator.

LOUD and Runs Alot

Like other reviews have mentioned, this is a loud refrigerator that runs over 65% of the time. If you are looking at this refrigerator, you may live in a smaller place. If so, you hear it throughout the entire house. It is louder than the 20 year old refrigerator it replaced.

So far we're very happy. We don't need the all the fancy features and are happy with the capacity. We were able to stock up on frozen pizza recently and still have plenty of room for multiple ice cream tubs and other things in the freezer door. We also like the flexibility when configuring the fridge shelves and the extra drawer. It's not loud but probably not the most quiet. The doors and handles show fingerprints but it's not a big deal. Hope it's reliable long term...

Over time I have purchased maybe 100 refrigerators for rentals. This unit is quiet. Only used 1 day so far and I am impressed. The interior storage is well laid out. Exterior stainless finish is nice, though it does retain prints so get a decent stainless cleaner. Looks good with black range and stainless dishwasher.

I was surprised that this product, although described as smaller (17.5 cubic ft.) than my previous (17.9 cubic ft.) GE refrigerator, has more space. I was told that it is more energy efficient because of more insulation. However, the motor runs louder than my previous GE refrigerator. Stainless steel color tend to show marks

Overall a well-built refrigerator. The features are basic but that's what's going to keep this thing running forever. Cooling capacity is awesome. I love the glass shelves in the main compartment. I had to reverse the door swing and handles but it was relatively painless.
