This is my second KitchenAide dishwasher in five years. I'm very happy with this machine so far, but concerned about the corporation's cost-cutting that has led to less reliable machines. My previous machine started failing after about 2 years - at first little things like the cheap, cheap door spring mechanism; then larger things until finally, after about 41/2 years our fabulous dealer told us to replace it rather than replace more parts. It had stopped drying, and after replacing the board and other parts, the service manager said, "It's time." I would have purchased another brand, but my dealer only services Whirlpool products. So, here I am, poorer and not wiser. Perhaps I had a faulty machine. I'm guessing not, that KitchenAid products are just not as good as they once were. Too bad.

Bought this online on 10/19/19. It wasn't delivered and installed until 11/8/19 after multiple calls to Lowes. Since I live alone, I have only used it 2 times - it takes a while to fill with silverware and dishes because it's so large and well designed for filling. Everything that went in "dirty" meaning only scraped and not pre-washed came out sparkling clean and best of all dry. In fact I had to open up the door a couple of times because it was so quiet, I thought it wasn't working. I look forward to Thanksgiving weekend when my family will have a meal here (pre-turkey time) and I can put it to full use. You ask for an evaluation of the dishwasher and I can only base this on the little use I've put it thru. My first dishwasher was a Kitchenaid back in the late1960's. It was a roll around and I had a 6 member family. When I sold it in the mid-1980's it was still working efficiently and I had another Kitchenaid installed during the renovation of my kitchen. Hope I can have the same dependability with this unit.

I bought this dishwasher on sale at Lowe's for $650. I had it professionlly installed. It worked beautiful for the first 5 times. We don't run it much as there are only two of us in the household. After that it will no longer fill with water. Infact the detergent pod was burnt when it was released and fell onto the heating coil. That's when we realized no water was entering. I contacted customer service about it. They suggested cleaning the filter so they sent me the owner's manual with instructions. Since it was used only 5 times, filters were clear. I am still unable to have water get in the tub. Forums have suggested that there is a problem with this model that when the sensor thinks water is in the tub, it will not fill. Customer service seems unaware of that issue. So now, I have to wait until I can co-ordinate times for someone to come out and look at it. My bargain was not a bargain.

I got this about a month ago and its been perfect. The trays slide VERY smoothly and I don't have to get on my daughter about putting all the utensils in one container on the bottom so they nest because of the handy utensil cover. Its quiet and working great. The ONLY complaint I have and this is miniscule, is I wish the lights that say the cycle is complete after washing would go off once the door has been opened.

So far so good! I bought this a month ago and it has worked as advertised every day. It's quieter than our old dishwasher, but that one was getting very old and leaking. The only minor drawback I have noted is it doesn't dry some dishes completely. It has an extended dry capability, but the extra electricity that uses isn't worth the minor inconvenience involved in wiping off 3 or 4 dishes.

I bought the dishwasher about 1 month ago and love it. So quiet, uses very litter detergent and does an excellent job of cleaning the dishes and flatware

Quiet and Efficient Dishwasher

We had the dishwasher installed for about two weeks now. It replaced a 13 year old dishwasher. We are very happy with it so far. It is very quiet and efficient. The only item that we do not like is the door closure fitting.
