I bought this oven a few weeks ago. It looks beautiful in my kitchen. It's easy to keep clean. The stainless finger print resistance is awesome. The thing that caught my eye while shopping was the 10 year warranty and the coverages. The elements heat up quick. The warming element is awesome. Love the big knobs. ThEre isn't an element on the bottom so it's easier to wipe it out. Highly recommend you buy it. The price was great. The bottom drawer slides in and out easily. My house is progressively becoming all Maytag! Just bought the refrigerator too.

First stove was damaged inside a perfect box container. Lowes had to open 3 more boxes to find one not dented or damaged. When they delivered it the guides on the storage drawer were missing. Hope it works well in spite of your lousy quaity control program.

We bought the stove and a week ago and it is so nice. It heats up nicely and it's cool how while the oven is preheating it shows what temperature it's at as it heats so you have an idea of how long it will be until you can put your food in the oven. The cooktop says in red when the burner is turned on and it tells you it's hot until it cools to prevent burns. I'm very impressed with this oven and highly recommend. We also like that its made in the USA!

First time buyer and happy

First of all, this is my first time purchasing a range and I am very happy. I have been looking for over an year and I just decided to purchase finally. First thing that got my attention on this range is the 10 years warranty. It is simple to just register online for the warranty. My original was old. It was a drop-in oven not a freestanding range like this. We didn't trim our counter or cut anything to have this freestanding range to fit. I will say that it's higher because my husband refuse to cut the bottom but that is not the point. Lol. There is a lot of feature compare to my old oven. The knobs to turn it on the stove top is little interesting. There is one that gives you a choice to have a small size to heat for a smaller pot or larger size pot which is gives me more choices on that one. The others are just one size either small or large size pot. I was little confused why the heat Red light on the stove top turned on and off while it was on but I understand that it is try to heat by levels so it was interesting to watch that. The gadget for the oven is no longer a knob. It is push button. It was confusing but once I understand it, I like it. It is push bottom for the heat degree. The only thing I might complain about is that once you push "bake" and then push the degree of heat, you then have to push "start" to get it started. If you don't push the "start" button, the oven won't start. It does ask you to "start" but I didn't realize. I don't know who has the time to read the thousand pages of instruction. I know I sure don't. I am just saying. Then you would have to wait to pre heat the oven which sometimes takes a moment. My last oven seems to heat faster but still fine. There probably has more added feature but I haven't had the time to mess with it. The size of the oven is nice size. Overall, I do love the oven.

First of all, I had four, yes - FOUR ranges delivered before one was acceptable. #1 - the stove was dented so bad from the packing band that the bottom of the stove was buckled and the drawer on the bottom wouldn't work. #2 - the stove smoked so bad it could have set my house on fire! Good thing I didn't leave the room when I turned the oven on. #3 - Big V dent in on the top where the control buttons are. #4 - Finally - a stove that was acceptable. Is there such a thing as quality control anymore? Three of the ranges should have never left your factory.

We bought our Maytag range this past month and I simply love it, far and beyond any I have ever had. The range heats up so quickly as does the oven. You don't have to wait long until the oven is ready, and the oven seems to cook so much quicker and evenly. It is easy to keep clean and looks great. The oven seems to cool down quickly also, eliminating the need to warm the whole house. (The range looks like it is crooked but it is only poor visibility on my side).

We are happy with the dish washer, the refrigerator, and the microwave, but have a feeling the bundling was done to get rid of this range. It takes more than 20 minutes to heat the oven to 400 degrees (our old one took four minutes) and the bottom drawer is like a piece of tin. I got online and saw that there was one positive comment on this range and about 30 complaints, mostly about the self-cleaning oven not working, but a few were about how long it took to heat the oven.

First view of my new maytag stove was borderline. My attention was drawn to two emblems on exterior of range. First being a 10 year emblem which was about 20 degrees crooked. The second was the Maytag emblem on the oven door. I figure maybe same person put both on and they had a liquid lunch. Even with these cosmetic issues, i love my new stove.

Great Value. Oven temps were dead on to settings. Displays actual temp of oven, not just the setting. Drawer does feel a little cheap because of the drawer slide. Does take 10-15 minutes to preheat oven to cooking temps.

Nice looking range. Heats a little slow but hats expected with ceramic cook tops. However, it heats well and evenly, lets you know cook top is hot, and is intuitive to operate.

We bought this range because it was a shatter resistant glass top. Hopefully we never have to find out if it works. Love it looks nice. Little bit hard to keep the glass all nice and shiny.

I really like this range. It is easy to clean, bakes just right and I love the keep warm area. I am very happy with it. One comment: Our last range had four red lights on the surface to indicate the burner is hot. That was a lot easier to see than the current smaller indicator on the control panel and it does not indicate which area is hot. `

Stove and matching microwave

Both appliances are great to use. Microwave is very quiet . Cooktop is very easy to clean. However the stove arrived with damage from the factory on the front left side. Installer has not been able to fix it. Photos enclosed. Photos have been sent to the installer without response.

Love it now that it's not smoking

I'm really happy I bought this, but wish they would have more clearly explained that the unit would smoke and smell like burnt plastic the first few times you use it. It was not a little bit of smoke like the user guide warned if. I called to see if someone could come check it out to make sure it was safe and the rep was able to go in to more detail and said that I should turn it on for at least 30 minutes, on 5 occasions, and after that it should stop smoking. That was much better communication so I knew what to expect, the wording the brochure used made it sound like it may smoke lightly. Now it's great!

This range does everything you need it to do - roomy interior, 4 cooktops with an additional warming element, large burner than can also convert to a small burner. But.... the oven takes forever to preheat. Much slower than my old range that was 30 years old! This is the only reason I have not given a 5-star rating.
