We love our new Speed Queen washer and dryer. Both have a large drum size which is very nice. Our Maytag washer and dryer were 38 years old, so we were concerned about being able to learn how to use all the new features. It has been a "breeze".

It's been a month and so far a total joy. Our dog has a favorite toy that the previous washer was obviously failing to clean. As a test I chucked it in a load and it came out squeaky clean and fresh. Goodby to off balance chaos and questionable results, hello to fresh clean, rinsed clothing, sheets and towels! Now we want the SQ dryer. Thank you good people of Ripon Wisconsin! The best part is lifting the lid and seeing "Country of Origin, USA".

Best decision I've made buying a speed queen. This machine fills all the way to the top with water and is super quiet . My old whirlpool(4 Years old) would not even get the clothes wet on top.

Very happy with my washer so far. It's very quiet & clothes come out very clean. Cycles take longer than my old machine, but this machine is much more reliable! I have a Speed Queen dryer as well & I love it, no issues with it at all. I've had so many issues with other brands through the years. I will never buy another brand other than Speed Queen again!

2yrs in and washer stops at rinse cycle and won't empty. None of the buttons work at this point, can only unplug and attempt again. It may or may not work on multiple attempts. Bad enough I had 4 repair visits on the SQ dryer, now washer has issues. For shame

I haven't had these very long. My previous Maytag set lasted 1 month short of 30 years The Speed Queen washes well and uses much less water water. It's very quiet too. Not as fast as the old set but the clothes and towels come out fresh and clean. I am happy with my Soeed Queen Washer.

12 years ago after having our new dryer break on the regular we were fed up and asked the repair man what he recommended. He said most machines have poor QC and aren't made to last any more.. if you want the best get a speed queen. I had never heard of the brand but I trusted him and we have never looked back! When we moved out of state and couldn't take it with us we got new ones here. I have convinced others to make the switch as well. We don't need a machine with a fancy computer system... we need a reliable machine that washes and dries our clothes. Period. This is it. With so many companies selling out for cheap labor and poor quality I pray SQ stays constantly reliable. Because as long as our machines last I will continue to tell people to save up and make the switch!

I am head over heads in love with my new speed queen top load washer with agitator in the middle. I works beautifully and provided more water to actually wash the clothes. It is also fast and clothes come out clean. Best part is the company still makes their washer and dryers in the USA. We had one years ago in a past home and when I had the opportunity to pick and new washer and dryer I choice Speed Queen.

The washer ruined so many of my clothes!! The techs that came out were wonderful and finally replaced a part that I'm very hopeful has resolved the issue. I've ruined so many items in the past six months since we purchased it. The dryer is wonderful!!

Still getting used to the machine. Have not figured out which cycle is best for us. Don't understand the agitation sequence. Slow then faster, but not fast like the old one. It has a very big drum. Holds a lot more wash than I am used to. I try to use the auto wash and heavy load to see if the agitation is good. I do not like that the water stops when I lift the lid in the beginning. I liked that I could spot clean in the beginning with my old one. But over all it is good. Thank you

Very durable. Problems with small amount of fabric softener being in bottom of tub after wash. Looked at buyer's guide and said to best to use it setting water level large, auto fill or auto fill/ extra rinse. Said It shouldn't be used with normal eco. Not understanding why this is so.

We just replaced our 2012 TR5 with a newer model. The other one worked great until it didn't: bearings in agitator went bad & outside of tank was rusting out. Repairmen said he had never seen that before. Repair cost was more than new machine,

We absolutely love our Speed Queen washing machine. It washes quicker and my clothes smell cleaner and, as a bonus it is whisper quiet. This is a washer that you buy once and keep for the long term. Remember when your parents, or grandparents owned a machine for 25-30 years? This is that machine, no complicated computer, only reliable and durable old fashioned knobs. I'm done with the over the top, WiFi connected appliances that break after 3 or 4 years. I highly recommend this machine, you won't be disappointed.

Well worth the money. Speed Queens are built in the USA. They are quality built to last. This is my second SQ set. I upgraded to a newer version when I moved to a new home. I gave my old set to my niece for her first home. I like the steel construction of the wash tub. It's big enough to wash king size blankets and comforters.
