Owned for 1 Month, but Loving It so Far

Purchased on 12/14/25, delivered and installed on 12/16/25. So far, it has lived up to the hype. Had a Samsung prior to purchasing my Speed Queen and over the years was constantly having to work on it to fix unbalance issues, even when putting in half loads of laundry. Samsung started rusting out in about 3 to 4 years. Speed Queen doesn't hold as large of a load as the Samsung, but it completes a wash in half the time and wrings out the water much better than the Samsung and is relatively quiet. Having to run my dryer less time to dry my clothes now. Most repairman you talk to recommend the Speed Queen for longevity and simplicity to repair and I love the fact that it is made in the USA. I'm counting on this one lasting for a while without any issues, but the 7 year parts and labor warranty gives me confidence that Speed Queen stands behind their products.

It runs as so quiet it's hard to tell if it is actually runing, during all cycles. The operation is simple as is making changes during a load. The capacity is amazing and everything we've washed has come out clean and smelling good. I have a friend that is an appliance repair person andwhen I asked him what brand he would recommend he said "without a doubt a SpeedQueen" and, it's built in the USA!

We have not had this machine very long, however, I have noticed less lint in the water discharge filter or the dryer filter. I am thinking that this is an indication of less damage during the wash. The clothes come out clean, so I have no complaints.

Usually don't get too excited over appliances, but I have to tell you my speed queen washer works unbelievable. My clothes even feel different when they come out of the washing machine and then the dryer. Finally a washer that removes all the soap out of my clothes and they even feel clean. All the cycles selections are perfect. I used to have to only wash small loads at a time. Now, I am able to cut laundry time in half.

This is quite the upgrade from our old brand X machine. The machine was a little confusing for the settings at first but we are past that. This machine is so quiet we couldn't believe it, even on spin cycle. We are looking forward to many years of use. The warranty and service guarantee is great. My mom always had a Speed Queen. I should have listened to mom. My husband wears his company shirts and the deodorant always made marks. No matter what detergent I used the armpits always had spots. This is the athletic polyester collared shirts. I always had to pretreat and scrub by hand. Since getting my new machine, no more pretreat and no more spots. I will always recommend Speed Queen.

In Chat GPT, I typed in "washer and dryer like they used to make". Up pops up Speed Queen.....I read ABSOLUTELY everything I could find about it. I even went to Lowe's and asked them for a W/D from 30+ years ago. He told me to buy a Speed Queen....I knew when an employee was recommending something they do not sell, therer must be something good with SQ products. I bought it after moving into my house, and I am blown away. My favorite way to get out stains is to fill up the washing machine and bleach or Biz and let if whirl around for about 30 seconds, then I add clothes and let everything soak overnight and then finish the cycle. SQ lets me do this and so much more. It is a little bit more expensive, but worth EVERY penny. I highly recommend!!

We really like to support local USA companies when we can. We purchased a Speed Queen brand washer due to reviews on durability and longevity unfortunately our machine is starting to rust heavily inside by the "bleach only" tray. The Company will not stand behind this premature rusting and simply states that it is not their fault. I would rate this as average and we will probably look elsewhere for our next washing machine unit. Our machine is less than 5yrs old and I feel this shouldn't be happening. Buyers beware

We purchased the washer and dryer. The washer has fabric softener in the bottom of the tub after wash. The dryer has noise when you turn it on, and there's been an odor like arm pits in the dryer since day 1

I really feel like the clothes are cleaner. With the last 2 (yes 2) washers in less than 20 years - it is a JOY to see the water covering the clothes and water that is actually warm! I love my new speed queen washer and dryer! They have many options and truly clean and dry clothes so efficiently. I did try to wash my king comforter and it fit but it didn't clean it as there wasn't enough room to probably wash it. I then put it in the dryer and it burned the corner of it because it was just too big to probably move properly. Got rid of that and moving in to a duvet cover instead.

So happy with my new machine! It is very quiet and does a fine job cleaning the laundry. The smart fill sensor adds the correct amount of water every time - I never have to set the load size. The manufacturing is superior to any other machine I've ever owned and the 10 year warranty gives me peace of mind. Most manufacturers design products to last just until the warranty period runs out but it is said that this machine is designed to last far beyond that. Last Washer I Hope to Buy

We have owned front loading washing machines for 50 years. They save water and detergent, and I have always thought they do a great job cleaning clothes. When our 10-year-old Samsung washer began to show wear, our repairman suggested looking at Speed Queen. We called our favorite appliance store and our salesman agreed. One quick trip to the store to look at them and within a week we had a new washer. I am overall very pleased. I am using more detergent sheets so that is a bit of a downside. But, I am so happy to easily lift all of the clothes out and no longer have to strain bending over to retrieve that last sock. And I no longer will have to worry about the seal becoming moldy and smelling bad. I suspect those washing machine tabs will no longer be necessary. The cycles are fast, I like all of the selections, and I have used the soak cycle when our Thanksgiving tablecloths and napkins had cranberry sauce and gravy stains. I pretreated and set the soak cycle and everything came out clean. I hope to never have to replace our washer in our lifetime (we are 71) and when our dryer wears out we will replace it with a Speed Queen dryer.

I like my speed queen washer. However, when I purchased it, it was sold as ultra quiet. When it fills up, it sounds like a jet airplane taking off. It is by far the noisiest washing machine I've ever owned. In contrast, the signal when it completes a load is very quiet. I guess they compensate the noise with clean clothes.

With exception of the washing machine that I had in the 90s the ones that I've had since are junk. The water level in the newer machines are a joke. They do not clean your clothes. When I wash clothes in my speed queen, they actually come out clean get out the stains and smell clean. I hope My speed queen will last me many years and then it will do just as good of job as it does today.

Quietest washer out there

So far this is the best decision i've made in a while. I cheaped out over the last 10 years but finally got tired of working on or flat out replacing washers about every 2-3 years. I should have listened to the appliance reps years ago and switched to Speed Queen. It is by far the quietest machine and It doesn't shake all over the place. It has some weight to it to because it isn't 100% plastic junk. I look forward to the longevity and am hoping what everyone says about this company proves to be true. The cleaning takes about half the time as the previous ones and it doesn't have to waste water with extra rinses. So far. So good.
