I bought this dishwasher a few weeks ago and I LOVE it! It is so quiet when it washes, I love the third rack (even though I forget my knives up there sometimes), and I love that the buttons are on top. It keeps my little one from messing with them. The little light that tells me if it is done or not is cool also. I highly recommend this dishwasher!

Motor and CTL failed within 2 years

We've had this dishwasher for just almost 2 years and the motor and CTL controller just had to be replaced. Spent almost $500 to fix a 2 year old dishwasher that's hardly worth that much new. Had a Maytag before this one that lasted over a decade without that kind of work needed. I'd spend your money on a different brand if I were you.

I bought and installed this unit about a month ago. It was a lowes display model. I found out it had a bunch of parts scavenged off it while on display and it did not work well at all. Lowes did not help at all with the missing parts and whirlpool's warranty process is difficult to work with. I ended up just buying all the parts myself. It works well now. The drying feature is not great, most top rack dishes are still wet after the cycle. I miss my Bosch unit, Whirlpool can't compete with them, I should have gone that route this time

Great Whirlpool Product

A few weeks ago after an extensive kitchen reno we bought black stainless appliances, slide in range, fridge and dishwasher, all matching, all Whirlpool. Last year we bought a washer and dryer again both Whirlpool. I have been happy for the most part, only fault is every spec of dust or pet hair (two cats) sticks to the outer surface, Im constantly using a microfibre cloth to wipe down the outsides. I was told to just wipe with a damp clean cloth and to use a dry micro fibre cloth to dust. The third rack in the dishwasher is great for some items but limits space to the top rack. I have only used the one hour wash so far and are finding the dishes do not dry well. Also some flatware is too wide at the handle and a hassle to put into the baskets so i have to use the top rack for them. Overall it is very quiet and I often check to make sure it is running. No big issues with the fridge, just had a hard time removing the blu by pass cap for the filter. Slide in range was easy to operate only I am paranoid about using windex on the screen in the front incase it goes behind the panel or on the black stainless itself. please advise if there is a product available to repell dust etc.

This is a great dishwasher. We replaced our old dishwasher that was only 6 years old from a different manufacturer. It never really worked well despite its top rating and expense. This Whirlpool dishwasher gets everything clean, is extremely quiet and I like that 3rd rack for flat utensils.

We have had this dishwasher for a month, after the control pad on the top of frigidaire we had for 12 years went bad. My biggest regret was skimping on the frigidaire, so we knew we wanted a better brand this time around. We found this one at Lowes and picked it up to install ourselves. Installation was easy, there were many ways to adjust it to several counter heights. It came with a drain line. We did have to buy the round adapter (as opposed to the little elbow one) for the water line, and you may need the line itself (which we already had since we were doing a replacement.) But even better than the instal was the operation itself. What I love: -This dishwasher runs so quietly we barely notice it. - The third rack at the top. - The adjustable "middle" (typically top) rack. - The utensil holder being in the door, allowing more room for dishes on the bottom. - the stainless steel tub. Clean and quiet. It cleans well with power and speed. The dishes come out dry and without residue. We are very pleased.

I bought my whirlpool dishwasher three weeks ago and am very satisfied. I love the third rack feature for lids! It does a great job cleaning my dishes and is very quiet while running. The dishes dry better when adding the rinse aid, so I do recommend adding it to the cycle. Great product!

Had this dishwasher a few weeks now. Happy with how quiet it is, And how fast is washes. Do have some issues with the clearance of the utensil tray on door. And lower rack comes of track easy. But mostly satisfied.
